Project Manager

As the Project Manager your primary responsibility is helping us turn ideas into resources that support first-time parents—whether it’s a helpful download, a piece of content, or a new system that improves the way we serve our audience. The ideal candidate is someone who’s excited to be involved in a little bit of everything: organizing projects, creating content, tracking results, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. You'll help connect strategy to action—keeping projects on track, supporting course members, and ensuring our content and tools are effective, up-to-date, and truly helpful for new parents.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Growth Support:
You'll play a key role in bringing new initiatives to life—whether it’s launching a resource for new parents, refining a system, or supporting an upcoming campaign. Projects will vary, but your role is to keep things moving—mapping out next steps, coordinating timelines, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. You’ll bring structure to creative ideas and help turn strategy into action.

Creative Contributions: You'll help shape the content we share with expecting parents—from developing ideas to writing or assembling posts, downloads, and other resources. To do this well, you'll need a strong sense of what first-time parents are actually looking for—what confuses them, what reassures them, and what kind of support makes a real difference. You'll use that insight to create content that’s not just informative, but genuinely helpful and aligned with what our audience needs most.

Digital Marketing (UTM Tracking): Help us understand our audience's journey by adding tracking tags to links across platforms and monitoring their performance in Google Analytics. You'll connect the dots between traffic sources and engagement, developing insights about why certain channels outperform others. By sharing these observations, you'll enable us to make data-driven decisions that better serve new parents - focusing our energy where it matters most and adapting approaches that aren't resonating.

Affiliate Management: Serve our new parent community by managing our product recommendation system - keeping affiliate links updated, tracking which items resonate most with families, and maintaining partner relationships. You'll ensure links work properly and monitor performance insights, helping us both earn credit for sales and understand what truly helps our audience. This role connects the dots between helpful resources for parents and our business partnerships.

Ideal Candidate

You’ll be a great fit if you are:

  • Interested in New Parent Education & Baby Care: You have a genuine curiosity about the challenges and triumphs of early parenthood, staying updated on best practices for infant care. You value the importance of empowering new parents with practical tools, guidance, and confidence, seeing this role as a chance to contribute to positive family experiences.
  • Super Organized: You're the ultimate project champion - making lists, tracking details, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. You take ownership of seeing projects through to completion, skillfully coordinating between different team members to keep everything moving forward. When you commit to something, it gets done.
  • "Anything Is Possible" Mindset: You approach challenges with the core belief that solutions exist, even when the path isn't clear. When faced with seemingly impossible situations, your curiosity kicks in and you naturally bring creative ideas to the table. You see limitations as puzzles waiting to be solved rather than stopping points.
  • Experienced (Where It Counts): You have some hands-on experience with the kind of work you'll be doing here. Maybe you ran social media for a club, helped with a friend's small business, or had a similar assistant role before. You don’t need to be an expert in everything, but you should understand the basics and be eager to learn whatever's new.
  • Tech-Friendly: Learning a new app or tool doesn't scare you – in fact, you kind of enjoy it. If we mention tools like Google Analytics, Excel/Google Sheets, or the LTK dashboard, you either know them or can get up to speed quickly.
  • Clear Communicator: You can craft a friendly Instagram caption, write a straightforward email, and chat with clients without confusion. You know how to adjust your tone for the situation – maybe cheerful and casual on social media, but more patient and reassuring with a confused customer.
  • Proactive & Trustworthy: If you spot something that needs fixing or could be better, you take initiative to address it. At the same time, you're honest and dependable – when you commit to a task, we know it'll get done. And if you run into a problem, you communicate about it rather than hiding it.
  • Interested in Marketing: Your actions connect to a larger interest in marketing in general, and you’re curious about how online businesses grow. Maybe you find it energizing to see follower counts go up or to figure out why one post did better than another. That drive will help you contribute ideas and find meaning in the marketing side of this job.

Hours and Compensation:

This is a part-time role (10 hours per week) with the potential to grow as the company grows. The pay is $25-$30/hour based on experience. This is a flexible role, many of the tasks can be done on your own time, but we do need you to be generally available during normal business hours (9am–5pm ET, Monday through Friday). That doesn’t mean you’ll be working all day, every day—but there may be times when we need you to jump in during those hours. We’re happy to be flexible with your schedule as long as we can count on you to be responsive when needed.

HOW TO APPLY:

Please fill out the form below and I will personally read your application and answer any questions you have (seriously the more questions the better). Please put an asterisk after your name on the form. This asterisk lets us know you read the full description and you’re detail-oriented, which is really important in this role.

If we are interested in moving forward, we will reach out with more details and next steps for an interview. Thanks for your time. We look forward to the prospect of having you join our small but mighty team!
